Howard University Burr Gymnasium Pool
Join Howard University for a community-centered water safety event focused on education, access, and increasing diversity in aquatics.
In partnership with Diversity in Aquatics and the Notable Northeastern Region of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., this Swim Series Activation offers participants the opportunity to learn essential water safety skills through guided instruction and hands-on engagement.
Session Times
Session 1: 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Session 2: 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Program Highlights
- Water safety education and demonstrations
- Interactive swim instruction
- Engagement with aquatics professionals
- Participation from the Howard University Swim and Dive Team (NEC Champions)
