This is a webinar on Zoom designed to provide faculty with a firsthand account of how students feel about the incorporation of open educational resources into classroom instruction. Testimonies will be shared from both students who support these resources and faculty who are already using them. With the rising costs of textbooks and other materials, students find it beneficial to have access to open-access and free or low-cost textbooks for their courses. This webinar will provide details on how faculty can access open educational resources and integrate them into their teaching. It is hosted by Open@WRLC. Howard University is a member of the Washington Research Libraries Consortium (WRLC).
