Social Determinants of Health: Improving Campus Mental Health and Wellbeing with HU-MHASP

This presentation will discuss social determinants of health and how it impacts mental health and well-being. In response, HU-MHASP is a program administered by HU School of Social Work and funded by a Mental Health Awareness Training grant funded by SAMHSA. The purpose of of grant is to improve mental health infrastructure at Howard University through Mental Health First Aid and Question Persuade Respond (QPR) suicide prevention training.
