Howard University’s WEALTH Institute will host Research to Policy: Drivers & Solutions to Wealth Inequality -- the inaugural convening that will bring together leading researchers, policy experts, advocates, and community leaders to explore evidence-based strategies to address the persistent drivers of the Black wealth gap.
Through a series of discussions and collaborative exchanges, participants will examine how interconnected systems—including housing stability, inheritance and estate planning, health outcomes, and access to legal and financial resources—shape economic mobility and long-term wealth building. The convening will highlight critical research, elevate lived experiences, and identify practical policy pathways that can advance equity and opportunity.
Designed for researchers, policymakers, nonprofit leaders, students, and community partners, this convening will create space for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration focused on translating research into actionable policy solutions.
