Join us for an engaging and forward‑looking symposium exploring the evolving role of artificial intelligence (AI) in research. This session will highlight the current AI landscape at Howard University and examine how emerging AI tools are accelerating scientific discovery and innovation across disciplines.

Participants will gain insight into how AI‑driven approaches are transforming research workflows—enabling investigators to tackle complex research questions with greater speed, precision, and scale.

A central feature of the event will be a dynamic panel discussion featuring experienced researchers who are actively integrating AI into their work. Panelists will share practical, real‑world perspectives on thoughtfully adopting AI tools, including selecting appropriate platforms, implementing responsible and ethical data practices, overcoming common challenges, and fostering interdisciplinary collaborations that support sustainable innovation.

Open to faculty, research staff, trainees, and students from across the university, this session will offer both conceptual grounding and actionable guidance for leveraging AI to advance discovery in academic research environments.
