Howard's Process Optimization Initiative Kickoff Event

The University is proud to present the official kickoff of Howard’s Process Optimization Initiative.  The Office of Business Optimization (OBO), newly established under the leadership of President Emeritus Wayne A. I. Frederick, M.D, MBA. During the Kickoff event, attendees will learn more about the initiative, the OBO, and the team supporting the work. The OBO team will also highlight current initiative tracks and progress, and share Howard’s broader approach to strengthening how work gets done across the institution. For Phase One, the OBO has already started with three priority areas: accounts establishment, Workday governance, and a Centers & Institutes pilot.

The OBO is starting with the processes and operational models in front of us today. As OBO strengthens its capacity for continuous improvement, the team will scale up its efforts and take on increasingly complex, high-impact opportunities across the University.
