Men of Mecca Event - "Kings of Campus Day" for Prince Georges County Public Schools

We will host Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) for our annual Kings of Campus program. This year’s event is especially meaningful, as it will be led by Ayeme Owona, a graduate of Flowers High School and a powerful example of the program’s impact. Ayeme first participated in Kings of Campus two years ago as a high school senior. Although he had secured a full scholarship elsewhere and had missed Howard’s application cycle, he made the intentional decision to enroll at Prince George’s Community College with the goal of transferring to Howard the following year. Through continued engagement and determination, he achieved that goal and is now a thriving first-year transfer student. Currently a candidate for Mr. School of Communications, Ayeme embodies the success and transformative potential of Kings of Campus and serves as a compelling testament to the power of this initiative.
