About this Event
DC International High School’s Black Boys Excellence Collective will be visiting campus for a curated engagement with our male scholars. This group of high-achieving students specifically expressed interest in participating in a lecture, and as such, we are inviting them to attend the “K. Dot and Cole: Counternarratives of Black Manhood” discussion led by student leaders within the College of Arts and Sciences. In advance of the program, we are developing a half-day experience designed to introduce them to the Howard community, foster meaningful connections, and expose them to the academic and cultural environment of the University. This activation is both a recruitment and engagement opportunity, and we are currently finalizing the structure and programming for the visit.
