Introduction to Excel, SQL, and Python for Environmental Informatics
About this Event
Environmental Informatics sits at the intersection of Data Science, Public Health, and Environmental Science, bridging disciplines to reveal how environmental exposures affect communities, particularly in the context of Environmental Justice. In this module, attendees will build core skills in Excel, SQL, and Python using EPA AQS data, with a focus on PM2.5 and NO₂, two pollutants strongly associated with health disparities. You'll learn to clean, query, and analyze these datasets, uncovering spatial and temporal patterns and connecting them to disparities in environmental exposure and health outcomes.
