Services are available to eligible Washington, DC–area residents and Howard University students.
Eligibility:
Services are available to individuals who:

Earn $69,000 or less (low to moderate or fixed income)

Are elderly or disabled
-
Have dependents
-
Need assistance with basic tax preparation
Appointment Required:

Tuesdays: 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Tax services are free for returns within the scope of volunteer training and certification. Out-of-scope returns include, but are not limited to:

Virtual currency transactions

Complex investment income or stock trades

Rental income or income from selling goods

Business income with paid helpers, losses, or home office use

Income from overseas or international organizations
-
Individuals without U.S. citizenship or a green card who arrived during the tax year

Individuals in the U.S. on F, J, A, H, L, or M visas
