Two of the nation's largest HBCUs are ready for an epic showdown in the Sunshine State. On Labor Day Weekend, the decades-old rivalry that started it all resumes. Don't miss your chance to witness an epic battle to start the football season along with a can't miss halftime head-to-head matchup as Howard's "Showtime" Marching Band makes a bold attempt to show up FAMU's "Marching 100" in their home state. Founded in 1933, the Orange Blossom Classic quickly became the postseason’s must-see game. The inaugural Orange Blossom Classic featured Howard University taking on the FAMU Rattlers. It successfully established the foundation of HBCU classics.The 2025 Orange Blossom Classic is the latest chapter in the storied Howard vs. FAMU rivalry. It will be the 41st time the teams have faced off.
