World-class Education: By collaborating with two District-based HBCUs, renowned for their outstanding curriculum, the initiative promotes education at its finest. Career Launchpad: Applications are now open. The program will empower 25 deserving graduating seniors with the promise of a dynamic career in public service. Real-world Apprenticeships: Students have the chance to elevate their academic experience with hands-on training and a full-time apprenticeship, starting June 2024. Professional Advancement: Alongside the job, benefit from enriching professional development courses spearheaded by the District Department of Employment Services (DOES). Graduating Seniors Can Up Their Career: Demonstrate excellence and see themselves ascend to a higher status within the DC Government. Commitment to Residency: Students can immerse themselves in the DC culture by maintaining residency, adding value to the community you serve.
