In partnership with the MLK Jr. Memorial Library, the Georgetown-Howard Center for Medical Humanities and Health Justice will host “Grown Women Talking: Lessons on Women’s Health Through Community” with speakers Dr. Sharon Malone and Jonquilyn Hill. This event will discuss women’s health and the lore that influences personal health decisions. MHHJ will also host a community organization fair featuring women’s health organizations who serve the greater Washington region. Attendees will have an opportunity to receive health screenings, referrals, and education, as well as engage with local women’s health advocacy groups.
