Day of Service

Modeled after the university's nationally recognized Howard University Alternative Spring Break (HUASB) program, HUDOS introduces service-learning to incoming students as they get acclimated to the University and DC community. Incoming students as well as continuing Howard University students, faculty, staff, and administrators will serve across the Washington DC metropolitan area, embracing the Howard University motto of “Truth and Service.”

Participants will meet in Burr Gymnasium before being dispersed to engage in projects around the city.
