Annual Student Leader Commissioning Service

This yearly tradition serves as a celebration of the students entering the legacy of leadership at Howard University. Alumna Brittney Cooper, Ph.D., professor of women’s and gender studies and Africana studies at Rutgers University, will serve as the morning’s speaker. 

All executive members and team leaders of schools, colleges, and organizations; resident assistants; captains of athletic teams; section leaders from choirs and the band; ranking ROTC members; and Howard University royalty are encouraged to register their group/organization. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend the service.
