With more than two decades of leadership in artificial intelligence, data science, and digital innovation, Dr. Stewart will share insights on how AI and data are strengthening innovation ecosystems across Africa and the global diaspora. The discussion will explore the role of AI talent development, data infrastructure, and cross-sector partnerships in expanding opportunity and driving global innovation.
The conversation will be moderated by Dr. Amy Yeboah Quarkume, Associate Professor at Howard University and Director of Graduate Studies for the Master’s Program in Applied Data Science and Analytics. A scholar, data scientist, and filmmaker, Dr. Quarkume leads the CORE Futures Lab, where students use AI, data science, and emerging technologies to address challenges in environmental stewardship, health, and sustainability.
