2026 AMIE Annual Conference Planning Committee Meeting Hosted by Howard University

The 2026 AMIE Annual Conference and Gala hosted by Howard University will be held on Sunday, September 20th, through Tuesday, September 22nd, at The Westin DC Downtown and Howard University in Washington, DC.  This year’s theme is “Advancing Global Competitiveness: HBCUs Driving Innovation in AI, Intellectual Property, Emerging Technologies, and Strategic Industry–Government Partnerships.”

The conference will be an innovative interactive experience as we bring together the Council of Engineering Deans of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities, students, engineering professionals, and leaders from top corporations and government agencies.  The AMIE Annual Conference will also feature prominent speakers and inspiring panel discussions.
