2024 Rise Up: Community Screening of "When Does Freedom Begin"

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE:

The purpose of the 2024 Rise Up Watch Party is to foster community engagement and dialogue around the themes of justice and freedom by screening the film When Does Freedom Begin. The objective is to connect students, researchers, and community members with the ongoing work of the Bridges to the Baccalaureate Research Training Program, highlighting the intersections between academic research and social justice through the lens of powerful storytelling.

This is the third film screening in the series of screenings that Dr. Andrisse and his team have hosted in the past for his NIH Grant:
